The Private Equity Stakeholder Project (PESP) has opened applications for a Climate Director (Remote) — a rare senior-level opportunity for experienced climate, environmental justice, and corporate accountability professionals to directly challenge private equity’s role in the climate crisis.
This is a fully remote, full-time leadership position with a competitive salary, strong benefits, and national-level influence across climate advocacy, sustainable finance, and environmental justice movements.
If you have deep experience in climate campaigns, financial research, and leading advocacy teams, this role puts you at the center of high-stakes climate accountability work.
About the Private Equity Stakeholder Project (PESP)
PESP is a nonprofit financial watchdog organization that investigates how private equity firms impact communities, workers, and the environment. The organization focuses on increasing transparency in a sector that often operates behind closed doors — especially when it comes to fossil fuel investments, energy infrastructure, and environmental harm.
Through rigorous research, data-driven reporting, and coalition-based campaigns, PESP partners with:
-
Frontline and environmental justice communities
-
Institutional investors
-
Policymakers and regulators
-
Labor unions and advocacy organizations
Their work plays a growing role in shaping climate accountability within global finance.
