What You Will Do
Interns collaborate closely with mentors and technical teams while owning real engineering projects. A typical day may include:

- Participation in team meetings and intern cohort activities

Interns join a diverse cohort from universities across the country and often return to Annapurna Labs as full-time engineers after graduation.
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week for up to 12 weeks
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Enrolled full time and returning to school after the internship
- Programming experience in C, C++, Python, or similar languages
- Experience in at least two of the following:
- Systems or low-level programming
- Compiler design or optimization
- Machine learning frameworks
- Distributed systems or parallel computing
- Performance analysis
- Hardware design (RTL, Verilog, FPGA)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship, research, or major project experience in ML systems, hardware–software co-design, or computer architecture
- Open-source contributions or research publications
- Coursework in machine learning, parallel computing, computer architecture, or compiler construction
