Citadel Student Informational Programs 2025/26 – Now Open for Applications

Citadel and Citadel Securities are inviting eligible undergraduate students to apply for their 2025/26 Student Informational Programs. These immersive, in-person opportunities are designed to introduce students to careers in trading, quantitative research, data science, and investing while providing direct exposure to Citadel’s people, culture, and work.

Selected participants will attend one of several flagship programs hosted in New York City or Miami during Spring and Winter 2026, with travel and accommodation benefits provided.

Citadel Securities Quant Invitational
Location: Miami, January 12–18, 2026

Who Is Eligible

Applicants must:

  • Be first- or second-year undergraduate students
  • Expect to graduate between December 2027 and June 2029
  • Be enrolled in good standing at an accredited university in the United States, District of Columbia, U.S. territories, or Canada
  • Be at least 18 years old

Only one application per individual is permitted for each program. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements and be prepared to provide documentation for verification.


Application and Selection Process

Location: In-Person in NYC

April 9 -11, 2026

Deadline: March 6, 2026

Applicants will be notified by March 13, 2026

To apply, students must submit:

  • An online application via the relevant program site
  • A resume
  • Representative work or academic experience
  • Personal details such as name and email address

All submitted information must be truthful and complete. Generative AI tools may not be used to prepare application materials, though basic grammar-checking software is permitted.

Applicants are evaluated based on academic performance, qualifications, and demonstrated interest in trading, investing, or quantitative fields. Interviews may be required as part of the process.

Program Benefits

Each selected participant will receive:

  • Round-trip economy airfare from within the U.S., U.S. territories, Washington, DC, or Canada
  • Ground transportation to and from airports
  • Single-occupancy hotel accommodations (unless living close to the venue)
  • Select meals during the program

Participants are responsible for any applicable taxes and additional personal expenses. Attendance at all scheduled in-person activities is required, and travel must be arranged through Citadel’s designated travel agency.


Notification Timeline

After application deadlines pass, Citadel expects to notify selected candidates within approximately two weeks, according to the timelines listed on the program websites. Recipients must respond promptly, complete any interviews, and submit required paperwork to remain eligible.

Citadel reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend any program, and to disqualify applicants who fail to comply with program rules.

Applicants’ data will be processed in line with Citadel’s Privacy Policy and may be shared with travel agencies or event organizers to facilitate participation.


Citadel’s 2025/26 Student Informational Programs offer undergraduate students the opportunity to explore careers in finance, trading, and quantitative research through fully supported, in-person events in New York City and Miami.
