SoilTribes is a multi-actor, mission-oriented initiative formed by individuals and organisations committed to promoting soil literacy and developing innovative, transdisciplinary responses to soil-related challenges. To empower this community, SoilTribes offers Lump Sum Micro-Grants to selected members of its Community of Practice to support knowledge development and transfer in the field of soil literacy.

Micro-Grant Funding Details

Selected applicants will receive a €750 lump-sum grant (VAT included) to support activities that strengthen soil literacy, collaboration, and community engagement across Europe.

This micro-grant scheme is part of a structured programme of four open calls, through which a total of 32 micro-grants will be awarded.

The third open call is expected to launch in June 2026, while the fourth and final call is expected in December 2026.

Who Can Apply?

Language Requirement

All communications and submissions related to the SoilTribes Micro-Grant programme will be conducted in English, including the application process, contract documentation, and implementation progress reporting. However, language proficiency is not considered part of the evaluation criteria, and applicants are welcome to use online translation tools if necessary.
