This student work position, based in Billund, Denmark, starts on 1 August 2026 and runs for two years, giving participants a structured pathway from academic theory to practical finance exposure.

What the Student Worker Role Offers

As a student worker in the LEGO Group’s finance area, you won’t just be completing basic tasks — you’ll be part of the CFO organization, working on meaningful projects across different sectors of finance. Through a rotation system, you’ll experience a variety of areas during your two-year tenure, such as:

  • Finance business partnering with functions like product development, sales, supply chain, and IT

  • Corporate finance functions including financial planning and management reporting

  • Business processes and analytics, such as business intelligence, internal controls, process optimization, and automation

This rotation system is designed to ensure you develop a broad perspective and build a solid professional foundation over time. Intensive learning sessions and networking opportunities further enhance your experience, while social activities help you build connections with fellow student workers.

A Supportive, Dynamic Work Environment

Student workers are expected to be on site two days per week starting 1 August 2026, with some flexibility around academic exams and the possibility to work from home. There’s also an organized carpool group to support students commuting to work.

Eligibility and What You Need to Apply

To be eligible for the LEGO Group student worker finance program, applicants are expected to:

  • Be pursuing a bachelor’s (5th–6th semester) or master’s degree in a relevant field such as economics, finance, or related studies at a Danish university or business school

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for applying academic skills to real-world finance work

  • Be comfortable using tools like the Microsoft Office suite

  • Show strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Communicate effectively in English and work systematically
