KCFP Climate Resilience Fellowships – Mentors and Supervisors

Applications for KCFP Climate Resilience Fellowships – Mentors and Supervisors is now open. Are you an academic or climate adaptation professional ready to support the next generation of resilience leaders? Applications are now open to become a mentor or academic supervisor for the King’s Commonwealth Fellowship Programme (KCFP) Climate Resilience Fellowships.

This prestigious initiative, inspired by His Majesty King Charles III and delivered through the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), supports mid-career professionals working on the frontline of climate adaptation in Commonwealth Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Fellows complete a one-year, accredited professional development programme while implementing practical, workplace-based climate adaptation projects aligned with national priorities.

Supervisors and mentors play a vital role in guiding these projects, helping ensure they are technically robust, locally relevant, and supportive of long-term climate resilience.

About the Fellowship

The KCFP Climate Resilience Fellowships provide an accredited postgraduate certificate in climate adaptation practice for professionals across the public sector, civil society, and private industry in Commonwealth SIDS.

As part of the programme, Fellows design and deliver applied projects focused on strengthening climate resilience in their communities. Academic supervisors and professional mentors provide expert guidance, help align projects with National Adaptation Plans (NAPs), identify potential risks, and support the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
