The Global Health Summer Institute Gender and Health Track is a premier online training program designed for current and aspiring public health professionals seeking to strengthen their expertise in gender analysis, gender equity, and the integration of gender within health programs. Taught by leading global experts, this track provides an applied, flexible, and internationally oriented learning experience suitable for students and professionals around the world.


About the Gender and Health Track

Gender profoundly shapes health outcomes, access, and equity. This specialized track offers a set of short, focused online courses that provide rigorous training in gender-responsive research, programming, and policy development. Learners gain practical skills through real-world case studies, applied methodologies, and interactive sessions.

The track is open to students, researchers, practitioners, and professionals from any discipline who want to enhance their gender-related competencies or advise on gender within health organizations.


Program Highlights

Tuition Discounts & Scholarships

Participants taking courses for non-credit are eligible for a tuition discount of $479 per credit.
A limited number of full scholarships (for credit and non-credit learners) are available.

  • Applicants will be notified by mid-April
