Tailored for U.S. college students majoring in computer science, data science, and related technical fields, the program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning to build responsible, human-centered AI solutions.
Ignite prepares students to compete for internships and entry-level positions in an AI-driven economy—combining weekly virtual training, mentorship, technical interview preparation, and a culminating industry symposium.
A Two-Semester AI4ALL Ignite Program Built for Future AI Talent
AI4ALL Ignite is divided into two structured semesters, blending technical development with career preparation.
Semester 1 — AI Technical Portfolio (13 Weeks)
Students collaborate with peers nationwide to develop an AI portfolio project grounded in real-world problem-solving. This semester includes:
- Weekly live technical workshops on AI and machine learning
- Industry panels featuring AI professionals from leading companies
- Peer mentorship through AI Project Leads
- Human-centered design and responsible AI training, covering fairness, bias, transparency, and privacy
- Networking opportunities with industry experts
The focus on ethical, real-world solutions ensures students build projects that resonate with employers while strengthening both technical and analytical skills.
Semester 2 — AI Career Readiness & Interview Training (7 Weeks)
After completing the technical project, students transition to intensive AI-specific career development workshops designed to prepare them for the internship recruitment season.

Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the Summer 2026 cohort, students must:
- Be 18 or older
- Reside in the U.S.
- Be enrolled in a U.S. undergraduate or associate degree program
- Major or minor in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline
- Possess basic programming skills, preferably in Python
- Have foundational knowledge of Probability, Statistics, and Linear Algebra by program start
