Highway to Opportunities are piloting a new skills coaching service aimed at getting over 19’s in Oldham back into work.
The coaching service is available to those residents currently not in employment but able to get back into work in the short or medium term. ‘
The skills coaching service we provide is a great opportunity for those in Oldham looking to get back into work, or seeking careers advice and guidance from a specialist advisor.’ Explains Jayne Entwistle, Director of H20.
The service will provide adults with:
- One-to-one customised guidance and support
- Structured support to undertake a Skills Diagnosis and produce a Skills Development Plan, to assist you to identify a realistic job goal
- CV development and typing
- Practice and advice with Interview techniques
- Help with job search including application forms and speculative approaches
- Brokering learning and work Support through the first 3 months of employment
