Local employment charity Highway to Opportunities is hosting an Eid Milad Event on Wednesday 17th March with a focus on providing employment and training information to Asian Women in Oldham.
The event takes place from 10.00-2.00pm at the Pakistani Community Centre, and will provide the community with access to a range of potential employers and training providers in Oldham
Manager Donna Graham explains the purpose of the event: 'Throughout the year we work with the Asian female community, delivering information, advice and guidance sessions through our outreach bus. This event is a way of engaging on a more informal basis.'
'We'll be providing a range of fun activities, such as henna painting, and jewellery stalls. Our Information, advice and guidance specialists will be on hand during the course of the day to speak to people about employment, learning and training opportunities.'
The event provides an ideal opportunity to find out more information about careers and training opportunities whilst mixing with people from their own communities.
